End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control forklift is an extremely flexible machinery and is well known in the material handling business. These machinery have great performance features that are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck models.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suitable for warehousing operation environments that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an ideal choice for applications which need regular on and off access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
Many companies used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading machines could arrange finished products on pallets and materials to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
The standard reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping tines which move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks also have a hydraulic system that enables the driver to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not just provides a lot more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
Once the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without difficulty, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
