Established during 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family business in the Northern Italy's largest industrial location. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, different kinds of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machinery.
In 1963, the company started crane production. The business eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru sells and manufactures 4 series of high quality tower cranes. These equipments are engineered and designed for a variety of uses and there are units available to cover all construction needs.
FMgru has some really flexible lifting options for smaller businesses working on private homes and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes provide 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Topless tower cranes are among their other units. These cranes have upto 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are user friendly and extremely adaptable. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are standard tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any building or construction project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These types of cranes are particularly designed to work in restricted sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are situated in close proximity to each other.
