The narrow aisle forklift has been manufactured to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale produces the double reach NDR and single reach NR units which are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale apply best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has various stance and control handle configurations.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations that meet a variety of operations as well as the aft stance, a choice of fore or side-stance options also.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology offers fast lifting speeds along with strong acceleration and deceleration. It has been manufactured for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of cargo moved in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly comprise trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, as well as the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly enhance the overall throughput and production.
Regenerative Lowering: Though regenerative lowering can lessen battery changes per shift it also functions to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence greatly reduces energy. The operator could adjust the steering tiller and the technician could adjust the steer effort so as to reduce operator fatigue. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also called very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These equipment are made for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height can be over 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are usually wire or rail guided when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
